Hi, I’m Levi Sweeney. I’m one of the newest hosts at KBCS, and I host the 12 AM to 1 AM Saturday show The KBCS Retro Radio Theatre. I’m a pioneer in applied AI audio and radio dramas. If you tune in to my late, late, show at midnight, you’ll hear me playing the character of “Jack Newman,” unlicensed, back-alley dealer of Old Time Radio.

Before I joined KBCS, I was a fast-food cashier, a factory worker, and a small-time political activist. I found my passion for radio drama, and enrolled in BC’s Digital Marketing program. I’ve been hosting my show for about 6 months, I write notes with pen and paper to help with deep thinking, and type out my final work on my laptop to organize and finalize my thoughts.

I have produced 2 original radio play scripts using AI voices and AI music: First, Son of Yi, Son of Pangu (2024) and, most recently, The Diary of Death (2025). I host listening parties for my close friends and supporters whenever I have a new play out.
