John Seman

John operates RPM Preservation Studio, directs the infamous Monktail Creative Music Concern, and is one of Seattle’s busiest mercenary jazz bassists. John has degrees in music composition and ethnomusicology from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music where he was also a DJ on WOBC. He started as a substitute DJ at KBCS in 2002, and has been co-host of Flotation Device since 2011.
