DJ Khazm

King Khazm, co-founder of Zulu Radio and Director of 206 Zulu, has been a formative force in the Seattle Hip Hop scene for years, and his momentum as an artist, educator and community organizer has only grown since he began in the mid-90′s.

As an alternative to the commercially, market-driven Rap music that dominates the airwaves of today, Khazm aims to preserve and elevate Hip Hop culture by exposing under-represented, independent and local music to the masses. It was his dedication, along with overwhelming community support, that enabled him to be recognized by the City of Seattle, various organizations, schools, institutions and members of the international Hip Hop community.
