Rustin Thompson is a filmmaker, critic and deejay born and raised in Washington state. Along with his wife, writer Ann Hedreen, they own White Noise Productions, committed to making independent documentaries and short, cinema-style films for non-profit organizations around the world. They are based in Columbia City and have two kids: Claire, a freelance journalist and writer; and Nick, a film student at Chapman University in southern California. Rustin believes that we should practice "moderation in everything, including moderation". His favorite films, of which there are hundreds, include Heat, Point Break, Breathless, The Passenger, The Wild Bunch, Medium Cool and The Seventh Seal.
