Hard Knock Radio
News, Views, and Hip Hop

Hard Knock Radio is produced every weekday in the studios of Pacifica Radio's KPFA in Berkeley, California. It is a daily public affairs show with in-depth reporting and news analysis for the Hip Hop generation. Hard Knock Radio hosts Davey D, Anita Johnson, and Weyland Southon give voice to the voiceless while planting seeds for social change. The show focuses on issues relevant to youth and the disenfranchised, especially communities under served and misrepresented by corporate-owned mainstream media. You can also find out more about HKR on their Facebook page and follow them on Twitter.

Hard Knock Radio airs every weekday at 6 p.m. in the Seattle area.

Did you miss today's HKR? As a public service, we make available two week's worth of HKR programming. We are unable to make these shows available for download.
