Death, a natural event we all face, is usually sidestepped as a topic of conversation. Here are some of our local segments on death.  The first two episodes are on a novel about death.  The second two episodes are on how we plan for death and on advanced directives.

Episode 1:  Author, Jason Mott penned the New York Times bestselling title, The Returned about the homecoming of dead loved ones.  Mott talks about how we hold those who’ve passed away in our hearts.

Episode 2: Author of The Returned, Jason Mott shares how his family and community feed his craft.

Episode 3:  Bastyr University Professor and Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Brad Lichtenstein has worked with patients facing terminal illness for decades.  He shares his take on how we die.  He begins with a short guided meditation on your last moments alive.

Episode 4: Naturopathic Physician and Professor at Bastyr University, Dr. Brad Lichtenstein facilitates “Death and Cupcakes” and advanced directives parties.   He shares some stories on how people prepare for death.
